A Personal Invitation...

"The Church Planting School in January is to help our fellow CRC Pastors and Churches who desire a vehicle to help launch potential church Planters into ministry. ​ The clear aim of this school is to rapidly expand the number of churches that we have the potential to plant. ​

I fervently believe in Leo Harris' compound multiplication principle of local Churches, under the leading of the Holy Spirit, begetting local Churches as the normal New Testament pattern. ​

 

Imagine if 50 CRC Churches partner with us by utilising this school and as a result another 100 CRC Churches are planted throughout Australia over the next few years. ​ Our movement could double and what an exciting kingdom building prospect this is. ​

 

This vision will be realised as we wholeheartedly believe that this is the normal pattern for New Testament Christianity; and if our existing Ministers, with God’s guidance, do everything within their power to identify, encourage, train and release the potential church planters from their local churches.​

 

Jesus said in Luke 10:2, "The harvest is plentiful but workers are few. ​ Ask the Lord of the Harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." ​ These words have never been more true than today. ​ To gather in the harvest of this great nation we need many more ‘on fire’ ministers and churches. ​

 

Dr Donald McGavran, the great missiologist of the second half of the 20th Century asserted " the most effective evangelistic method under heaven is the multiplication of new churches". ​ This school is an intensive working course designed for results and definite outcomes. ​ For people who desire to plant a church, this school will provide an inspirational and practical launching pad for them to actually begin, or to move into the next phase of their ministry life. ​

CURRICULUM SUBJECTS

The subjects and material covered will be highly impacting for people who are about to step out into a church planting ministry, with a special focus on:

- Public Ministry principles and practices ​

- “How to’s” and “do’s and don’ts” of church planting ​

Sessions will include case studies of churches planted in recent years by C.R.C. ​ churches, and of existing churches which have experienced significant renewal. ​

BASIC TEXTS

There will be some required reading as a prerequisite to attending the school. ​ It is because of this important preparation time that applications close by early December. ​ This allows a four-week period to read, note and digest some key texts. ​

COST

The school will cost $250 per person or $400 per couple, which covers tuition, notes, books, utilities, meals and accommodation (if required). ​ Payment can be by direct deposit or on credit card. ​

​

SPECIAL GUESTS

Key CRC ministers who have a proven ministry fruitfulness in church planting will be booked to share. ​ Pastor Bill Vasilakis will be making this school a personal priority and will present several significant subjects. ​

SUBSIDY OPTIONS

We don’t want the cost of the school plus travel to be an obstacle if you really feel called to plant a church. ​ Contact us to discuss subsidy options and we would love to assist you ​

PRE-REQUISITES REQUIRED

Your application will require the successful endorsement of your current church Pastor and respective State Chairman.
